Spelling

I want to give you some information in regards to spelling this year. I have started out by giving each student a spelling inventory assessment to determine their approximate stage in spelling development. I have grouped the students based on this data, however, if I student shows a need to go up a level or conversely down a level, I will do so. If a student misses 1 or less on three tests in a row, I will most likely move them up to a different group. Please note that I have marked a box on spelling homework “Parent’s Choice”, using this box you may choose a spelling homework assignment for your child as you see fit.
